Due to unexpected delays, the project is taking longer than anticipated.  The Village has received a commitment from the contractor the roadway improvements (pavement removal and surface paving) will begin during the middle of next week.  Once the contractor arrives in the Village, they will remain here until the work is completed.  We are hopeful the work will be completed by mid-August.

Due to the weather and equipment break-downs, the roadway improvements were delayed with paving starting on Friday. It is anticipated all areas with pavement previously removed will be paved by the end of next week.

The Village will provide all notices regarding driveway restrictions during concrete curb & gutter and sidewalk replacements. Please be on the look-out for these notices.

Asphalt resurfacing of roadways is anticipated to begin the week of July 10^th.

Construction will not be delayed due to the current shut-down of IDOT projects.
